About Hazon & Hazon Philly
Hazon is an international organization  working towards creating sustainable communities, specifically engaging  all Jewish communities in issues around the environment, food and social justice and Israel.

Philadelphia Hazon is our local  branch of the international organization and the sponsor of the Philadelphia Food Festival and Ride the Pines, We partner with local synagogues/camps and non-profits in the area of food justice issues as well as implementing the Hazon Seal of Sustainability in our local area.

Chief Program Officer, Hazon
Judith Belasco is Hazon's Chief Program Officer where she directs strategic planning, program design and implementation, and supervises all of Hazon's program and marketing and communications. She has a masters in nutrition and public health and lives in Hastings-on-Hudson with her husband and two children.

Co-Chair, Hazon Philadelphia Board
Joy Dickstein Finkel is the Co-Chair of the Advisory Board for Philadelphia Hazon. She also served as Coordinator for the Min Ha'Aretz Hazon CSA at Congregation Beth El Yardley for the past five years.  She is an attorney in Bucks County. She is married to her husband Marc and has a son Benjamin and a daughter Molly and loves being a creative vegetarian cook.

Val’s involvement with Hazon began when she helped bring Hazon CSA to her Cherry Hill community. Over the years she has participated and taken leadership positions in the full range of Hazon activities including riding and crewing the Labor Ride and Retreat, cycling in the California Ride and the Israel Ride, and attending as a guest at Hazon Food Conferences across the country.
